Achievements

AY2008-2009
1. Participated in an Inter-school competition at Temasek International School and returned with the following results
  • Spelling Bee – 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Primary 1-2 category
  • Spelling Bee –  2nd in the Primary 5-6 category
  • Speech  Contest – 3rd in Upper Primary category
  • Speech Contest – 2nd in Secondary category
  • Mathematics – 4 students emerged as Top Ten in Primary category
  • Mathematics – 1 student emerged as Top Ten in Secondary category
  • Drawing Competition – 2 Pre-school students clinched 1st and 2nd prize
  • Drawing Competition – Student won the Lower Primary category

2. Participated in a SIS-wide event, the SIS Olympics and emerged CHAMPION.
3. Participated in a SIS-wide event, the SIS Choir Competition and emerged CHAMPION in 2 categories.

4. Our football team participated in the Bandung School Sports League for the first time and gained experience.

AY2009-2010
1. Participation in Inter-school Rhyming Competition organised by Town for Kids School on 12 December 2009 and returned with the following results:
  • CHAMPION in Category for Nursery – Sato Airi
  • RUNNER-UP in Category for Kindergarten Two – Nathan E. Chandra

2. Four Lower Primary students participated in the Mindlab Abalone Competition in March and one of our students, William Teng, reached the semi-final round.
3. Two students participated in the 2010 Mindlab Olympics in Bandung and that competition also served as a selection for its Final in Jakarta. Chaska Keane Doku (P3) emerged CHAMPION locally and represented the school and Bandung in Jakarta.
4. Participated in a SIS-wide event, the SIS Olympics – With a total of only 18 representatives, SIS Bandung garnered 20 medals (9 Gold, 7 Silver and 4 Bronze). That was indeed a high return for our small contingent.

AY2010-2011
1. The school is recognised as a Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Centre.
2. Participated in an Inter-school competition, ‘Mindlab School Olympic’ on 17th October 2010 and Jason Christopher Kodyat of Primary 2 emerged CHAMPION in his category.
3. Participated in an Inter-school English Language Competition organised by Bina Bangsa School on 30th January 2011 and returned with the following results:
  • CHAMPION in Spelling Bee for Primary 1
  • RUNNER-UP in Spelling Bee for Primary 1
4. Participated in a SIS-wide event, the SIS Choir Competition and returned with the following results:
  • Secondary category – CHAMPION
  • Lower Primary category – Runner-up
5. Participated in a SIS-wide event, the SIS Olympics and emerged 5th in the Overall Standings.
